Mary Effie was born on September 5th, 1869 in Jefferson, Montgomery Co., KS. Mary Effie's father is Christopher Rhoades and her mother was Catharine Elizabeth Replogle. Her maternal grandfather is David Replogle and her maternal grandmother was Nancy Ann Hoover. She had four brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Henry, George Washington, Aaron Levi, William David, Nancy, Elizabeth, Susannah, Sarah Ann, Lydia Jane, Catharine, Lucinda Ellen and (Child of RHOADES, Catharine and Christopher). She was the youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 77 on August 16th, 1947 in Topeka, Shawnee Co., KS.-
