John Stanley Rees 
John Stanley was born on January 3rd, 1852 in Maysville, KY (Mason Co.). John Stanley's father was Major Winchester Elhanan Rees and his mother was Anna Vanmeter Hutchcraft. His maternal grandparents were John Hutchcraft and Margaret Long McIlvain. He had four brothers named James D., Chester E., Braxton G. and Charles H., M.D.. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 86 on November 17th, 1938 in Winchester, KY (Clark Co.). He was buried in 1993 in lived Cincinnati, OH.General Notes
