John Ray

John was born in 1680 in Lancashire, England.¹   John's father was William Ray and his mother is Anne Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Alexander Ray and Joane UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Luke, William, Joseph, Ann, Elizabeth, Frances, Magdalene, Mary and Jane.  He was the third oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 38 on April 12th, 1718 in Prince George's, Maryland.¹
