Deborah was born on January 10th, 1681 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Mass. Deborah's father was Johathan RUSSELL and her mother was Hassadiah (Hasadiah) SMITH. Her paternal grandfather was John RUSSELL and her paternal grandmother is Mrs Dorothy RUSSELL; her maternal grandparents were John SMITH and Deborah HOWLAND.
