Melvin ROSS 
Melvin was born on October 12th, 1810 in Guilford, Guilford, Nc. Melvin's father was Andrew JACKSON ROSS and his mother was Anna Or Mary Ann CUMMINS OR KIMMINS. His paternal grandfather was John ROSS and his paternal grandmother is Sarah JACKSON; his maternal grandparents were Robert CUMMINS and Elizabeth GILBERT. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Robert Kimmins, Andrew Jackson, Thomas, George Washington, Mary Ann, Polly, Elisabeth Or (Betsey), Nancy, Mary Ann and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 93 in 1903.General Notes
