John ROOT 
John was born on February 26th, 1608 in Badby, Northants, England, Eng. and his baptism took place on September 24th, 1608 in Farmington Congr, Congregationalch, Hartford, Ct. John's father was John ROOTE and his mother was Mary Ann RUSSELL. His paternal grandfather was Thomas ROOTE and his paternal grandmother is Ann BURRELL; his maternal grandparents were Francis RUSSELL and Anne FORRESTER. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, Josiah, Thomas, Jonathan, Mary, Marie, Susannah, Thomas, Bethia and Susannah. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
