Jacob Willemse was born in 1663 and his baptism took place on August 1st, 1663 in Communipaw, (jersey City), Hudson, New Jersey. Jacob Willemse's father was Willem Jansen (Janszen) ROOME and his mother was Jannetje JANS. His paternal grandparents are Jan ROOME and Mrs. Jan ROOME; his maternal grandparents are Jan UNKNOWN and Mrs. Jan UNKNOWN. He had two brothers named Jan Willemse and Pieter Willemse.
