Mary was born on October 16th, 1794 in Milton, , Ma.. Mary's father was Lt. Gov. Edward Hutchinson ROBBINS and her mother was Elizabeth MURRAY. Her paternal grandparents were Rev. Nathaniel ROBBINS and Elizabeth HUTCHINSON; her maternal grandparents were James MURRAY and Barbara BENNETT. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Edward Hutchinson, James Murray, Eliza, Sarah Lydia, Anne Jean and Catharine. She is the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
