George Parrish 
George was born on June 16th, 1763 in Goochland Co., Virginia. George's father was Humphrey Parrish and his mother was Elizabeth Lane. His paternal grandfather was Humphrey Parrish and his paternal grandmother is Mary Morton Hamilton; his maternal grandparents were John Layne and Elizabeth Ayers. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Humphrey, Dabney, David, Constance, Elizabeth, Mary and Sally. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 on January 10th, 1823.General Notes
