James Mitchell PRITCHETT 
James Mitchell was born on June 1st, 1817 in Smith, Washington County (now Smyth, Va. James Mitchell's father was Samuel Pritchett and his mother was Rebecca Anderson. His paternal grandparents are James Pritchard and Elisabeth Durbin; his maternal grandparents are John ANDERSON and Nancy LITTLE. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Anderson, David, William Decobet, Eddley Campbell, Polly and Eunice. He was the youngest of the seven children.
