Ruth was born on October 15th, 1711 in Norwich, N. L., Ct. Ruth's father was Samuel POST and her mother was Ruth LATHROP. Her paternal grandparents were John POST and Hester HYDE. She had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John, Nathaniel, Jabez, Stephen and Ester. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 84 on August 11th, 1796 in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont. She was buried in Bennington, Bennington Co, Vt.General Notes
