Abraham was born about 1605 in Langley, Kent, England. Abraham's father was Stephen POST and his mother was Ellen (Ellenor) (Elinor) PANTON. His paternal grandparents were Abraham POSTE and Ann HUNTER; his maternal grandparents are Mr. PANTON and Mrs. PANTON. He had four brothers and a sister, named Abraham, John, Thomas, Joseph and Katherine. He was the oldest of the six children.
