John P POINDEXTER 
John P was born in 1703 in St Peters Parish, New Kent, Va and his baptism took place in St Pauls Parish, Hanover Cty, Va. John P's father was Thomas POINDEXTER and his mother was Sarah CRAWFORD. His paternal grandparents were George Poindexter and Susanna BENSKIN; his maternal grandfather was David CRAWFORD and his maternal grandmother is Jane CRAWFORD. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Julius Caesar, Susannah P, Elizabeth, Sarah and Susanna. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 50 on May 22nd, 1753 in , Louisa County, Va. He was buried in 1753 in Hanover Cty, Va.General Notes
