Thompson PITTARD 
Thompson was born about 1775 in Granville Co., Nc. Thompson's father was Samuel PITTARD and his mother was Ann Meredith DAVIS. His paternal grandparents were Samuel PITTARD and Mary NEWTON; his maternal grandfather was Humphrey DAVIS. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Elijah, Humphrey "Umphrey", Samuel, William Davis, Abner, John, Davis, Anny Or Anne, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Frances. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died on January 23rd, 1844 in Gwinnett Co., Ga. He was buried in Winterville, Clarke, Ga.General Notes
