William PARSONS 
William was born about 1758 in , Pittsylvania, Va.. William's father was Richard Sr. PARSONS and his mother was Lydia Briggs. His paternal grandfather was Joseph PARSONS and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Woodson; his maternal grandfather was Ralph Briggs and his maternal grandmother is Mary Wright. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Sr., George, James, John, Samuel, Richard Jr., Hannah, Mary Agnes and Lydia. He was the second youngest of the ten children.
