JOHN OWENS 
JOHN was born on March 11th, 1760 in YORK CO PA. JOHN's father is PETER OWENS and his mother is Alice Parry. His paternal grandfather is UNKNOWN OWENS. He had four brothers and a sister, named AARON, MOSES, ROBERT, THOMAS and CAROLINE. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 92 on February 11th, 1853 in LAWERENCE TWP CLEARFIELD CO PA. He was buried in 1853 in OWENS CEMETERYLAWERENCE TWP CLEARFIELD CO PA.General Notes
WAS A PRIVATE IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR... WAS IN YORKTOWN DURING THE SURRENDERFROM JULY10 THROUGH SEP 11 1781. WAS BLIND THE LAST 10 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. IS BURRIED IN THE CENETERY THAT HE DONATED FOR A CEMETERY OUTSIDE CLEARFIELD IN THEHILLSDALE AREA, AS WELL AS HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTER KEZIAH, HER HUSBAND JOHN YOUNGAND TWO OF THEIR DAUGHTERS MARTHA WHO DIED 9 AUG 1857 AT 17 OLD, AND HELLEN WHO DIED MAR 1861 AT 11 YEARS OLD. ARE BURRIED THERE AS WELL AS OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND TWO OTHER REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.IMFORMATION ON CHILDREN AND BIRTH DATES ETC I GOT ON ANCESTRY WORLD TREE ON THE ERIC AND BRIAN MOORE'S FAMILY TREE
JOHN and NANCY ANN were married in a religious ceremony in 1789 in YORK CO PA. They had three sons and six daughters, named PETER, JOHN W, Robert, MARY ANN [POLLY], ELIZABETH, JANE, CATHRINE, ANNA and KEZIAH.

CATHRINE OWENS
CATHRINE was born on June 6th, 1796 in YORK CO PA. She died at the age of 23 on February 16th, 1820.
JOHN W OWENS
JOHN W was born on January 9th, 1797 in YORK CO PA. He died at the age of 76 on February 16th, 1873.
ANNA OWENS
ANNA was born on August 20th, 1800 in YORK CO PA. She died at the age of 84 on August 23rd, 1884 in BRADFORD TWP CLEARFIELD CO PA.
Robert Owens
Robert was born on September 22nd, 1808 in Lawrence Township., Clearfield Co., PA. He died at the age of 76 on January 12th, 1885 in Lawrence Township., Clearfield Co., PA. He was buried in January 1885 in Owens Cemetery, PA.
KEZIAH OWENS
KEZIAH was born on December 5th, 1810 in LAWERENCE TWP CLEARFIELD CLEARFIELD CO PA. She died at the age of 70 on November 20th, 1881 in PA. She was buried in OWENS CEMETERY LAWERENCE TWP CLEARFIELD CO PA.
