Her paternal grandfather was William MURRAY and her paternal grandmother is Agnes GRAHAM; her maternal grandfather is David II DRUMMOND and her maternal grandmother was Lilias (Lilian) RUTHVEN. She had five brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Patrick, Mungo, Robert, Lilias, Anne, Annabella Or Catherine, Margaret, Catherine and Jean.
