John Carter MOON 
John Carter was born on May 1st, 1830. John Carter's father was Solomon Moon and his mother was Hannah McLinn. His paternal grandparents were Joseph R. MOON and Ann BROWN. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Allen, Lewis, Aaron, William Thomas, Solomon, Infant Son, Mary, Lydia, Arksy Ann, Jane, Malinda, Sarah Elisabeth and Ruth. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 55 on November 8th, 1885.General Notes
