William MCKINLEY 
William was born on November 15th, 1807 in Pine Twp., Mercer, Pa. William's father was James Stephenson McKinley and his mother was Mary Polly Rose. His paternal grandparents were David MCKINLEY and Sarah Gray; his maternal grandparents were John "Andrew" Rose and Hannah Chapman. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Andres, David Josiah, James, John, Ephriam, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Celia, Mary, Sarah Jane, Hanna, Martha and Ellen. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 85 on November 24th, 1892 in Canton, Stark, Oh.General Notes
