William MCKEE 
William was born on February 28th, 1759 in Kerrs Creek, Rockbridge, Va.1 William's father was John MCKEE and his mother was Jane LOGAN. His paternal grandparents were John MCKEE and Marjory STEWART; his maternal grandfather is David LOGAN. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, James Logan, Robert, John, David, Mary and Miriam. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 in 1833.1 General Notes
