Barbara MCKAY 
Barbara was born on October 30th, 1846 in Giese, Thurso, Caithness, Scotland and her baptism took place on December 6th, 1846 in Thurso, Caithness, Scotland. Barbara's father was William MCKAY and her mother was Helen (Ellen) OMAN. Her paternal grandparents were John MCKAY and Barbara MUNRO; her maternal grandparents were David OMAN and (2) Isabella SUTHERLAND. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, David, John George Sinclair, Isabella, Williamena "Ena" and Catherine. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 1 in March 1848 in Janetstown, Thurso, Caithness-Shire, Scotland.General Notes
