Jesse MCCAUSLIN

Jesse was born on February 24th, 1817 in Hickman, Tn.  Jesse's father was Younger McCauslin and his mother was Lydia GARNER.  His paternal grandfather was John McCausland and his paternal grandmother is Susannah Younger; his maternal grandparents are Jesse GARNER and Lydia GRANGER. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John, Younger, Mahala, Ann, Susannah, Sally, Eliza Jane, Nancy Carolyn, Minerva America and Lydia.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 47 on March 6th, 1864 in Provo, Utah, Ut.  He was buried in Provo Cemetery.
