Edith was born in 1700 in Williamsburg, , Va. Edith's father was Jean (John) MAROT and her mother was Anne PASTEUR. Her paternal grandparents were Jacque MAROT and Anne UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents are Jean PASTEUR and Mary BLOUETT. She had seven sisters named Hannah, Edith, Ann, Rachel, Anne, Rachel and Ann. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 61 in 1761 in , Amelia, Va.General Notes
