Martha was born in 1683 in St Peters Parish, New Kent, New Kent, Virginia.  Martha's father was Gideon Gedeon MACON and her mother is Martha WOODWARD. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Gideon, William, John, James, Ann, Martha, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN.  She is the second oldest of the nine children.
