John MACKAY 
John was born about 1670 in Borley, Caithness, Scotland. John's father is William MACKAY and his mother is Elizabeth CORBET. His paternal grandparents were Donald MACKAY and Christiana (Christian) MUNRO (MUNROE); his maternal grandparents are Alexander CORBET and <Unknown> UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Donald, Elizabeth, Barbara, Christina, Isobell and Jane. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in 1735.General Notes
