Gersham LEWIS 
Gersham was born on December 30th, 1704 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Gersham's father was John LEWIS and his mother was (Lewis) Elizabeth HUCKINS. His paternal grandparents were Edward LEWIS and Hannah COBB; his maternal grandparents were John HUCKINS and Hope CHIPMAN. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward, John L., James, Shobal, Shubael, Thankful and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 61 on October 18th, 1766 in Litchfield, Litchfield, Ct. He was buried in 1766.General Notes
