Ellen was born on December 30th, 1893 in Martinsburg RD, Blair Co., PA.1 Ellen's father is Isaac C. Kensinger and her mother is Susan Brumbaugh. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hoover Brumbaugh and Elizabeth Hoover. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Isaac Brumbaugh, Elvin B., Adam, Jeremiah, Margaret, Annie, Catharine, Elizabeth, Ellen, Grace and Minnie. She died at the age of 86 on March 1st, 1980 in Hillview Care Center, Altoona, Blair Co., PA. She was buried on March 4th, 1980 in Greenlawn Cem., Roaring Spring, Blair Co., PA.1 1 General Notes
