Henry was born in 1561 and his baptism took place on August 10th, 1561 in Thundridge, Hertfordshire, England. Henry's father was Thomas KIRBY and his mother was Joan SMYTHE. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas KIRBY and Joan (KIRBY). He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, John, Nicholas, Alice, Katherine, Elizabeth, Agnes, Rose and Margaret.
