Joane Jane was born on February 24th, 1664 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma. Joane Jane's father was Thomas KENT and her mother was Joan PENNEY. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas KENT and Mrs-Thomas KENT; her maternal grandparents were Thomas PENNY and Ann UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Josiah, Thomas, John, Mary, Sarah (Mary) ?, Jane, Mercy (Nancy) ? and Joanna. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
