Phebe was born on November 11th, 1753 in Dutchess, Ninepartners, N.y., U.s.. Phebe's father was John Dobson KEESE and her mother was Elizabeth TITUS. Her paternal grandparents were John KEESE and Mary BOWNE; her maternal grandfather was Samuel TITUS and her maternal grandmother is Mary JACKSON. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Stephen, Richard, William, Oliver, John, John, Oliver, Sarah, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary and Phebe.
