Martha was born on March 13th, 1822 in Indiana.1   Martha's father was Jonathan Justice and her mother was Elizabeth Yount.  Her maternal grandparents were William Henry Yount and Marianne Waymire. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, John, Enoch, Henry, Jesse B, Mary, Sarah, Anna and Elizabeth.
