William JOHNSON 
William was born in 1813 in , , Va. William's father was George Washington Johnston and his mother was Sarah Barnett. His paternal grandfather is John William Johnston and his paternal grandmother was Nancy Hilton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Calvin, Campbell, John, Charles C., Francis Marion, Elizabeth Adealine, Mary Jane and Margaret. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 51 on May 30th, 1864 in Powell Twp., Scott Co., Va.General Notes
