Michael ISRAEL 
Michael was born in 1778 in Albemarle County, Va. Michael's father was Michael ISRAEL and his mother was Sarah GRAVES. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Johnson, Jesse, Solomon, Isom, Mary, Ann (Sarah), Belieu Ann Sarah and Catey. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 in 1866 in Buncombe County, Nc. He was buried in 1810 in Avery's Creek, Buncombe County, Nc.General Notes

‌Michael and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on February 26th, 1800 in Wilkes County, Nc. They had five sons and six daughters, named James, UNKNOWN, John C., UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, Mary, Elizabeth, Celia, Sarah, Caroline and Arminta.
