Mary was born about 1573 in , Cranbrook, Kent, England.  Mary's father was John IDDENDEN (INDENDEN) and her mother was Christian Glover MERCER. She had a brother and eight sisters, named John, Susan, Sarah, Sara, Mary, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Katherine and Judith.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died in August 1597.
