Reuben Brent, Jr. was born on December 15th, 1886 in Paris, KY (Bourbon Co.). Reuben Brent, Jr.'s father was Reuben Brent, Sr. Hutchcraft and his mother was Dorcas Saunders Ashbrook. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Lee Hutchcraft and Frances Hedges. He had a brother and two sisters, named Felix Ashbrook, Mary Fithian and Helen H.. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 31 on November 7th, 1918 in Sedan, France. He was buried on March 27th, 1919 in Hutchcraft Family Book page 129.General Notes
