James Hunter

James was born in 1836 in , Dickson, Tennessee.  James' father was Burrell Hunter and his mother was Hickey R. Sims. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Houston, William, Louisa, Martha G, Mary and Paralla.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.
