Mary Ann was born on September 14th, 1822 in near Martinsburg, Blair Co., PA. Mary Ann's father was Christian Hoover and her mother was Catharine Clapper. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Hoover and Anne Houser. She had a brother and three sisters, named Jacob, Sarah, Catharine and Nancy. She died at the age of 64 on October 11th, 1886 in Lancaster, Huntingdon Co., IN. She was buried in Lancaster Cem., Huntington Co., IN.1 -
