George Hoover 
George was born on October 19th, 1838. George's father was Martin Puterbaugh Hoover and his mother was Mary Long. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan HOOVER and Elizabeth PUTERBAUGH. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Elias, John Long, Johnathon\Jonathan Long, David, Susannah Long, Elizabeth Long, Mary Long and Catherine. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 on December 5th, 1897.-
