John James HORROCKS 
John James was born on May 14th, 1868 in Heber City, Wasatch, Ut. John James' father was Rodger HORROCKS and his mother was Sarah Ann TAYLOR. His paternal grandparents were John HORROCKS and Ann HORROCKS; his maternal grandparents were James TAYLOR and Alice WALKER. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Roger, Joseph, William, Thomas, Franklin, David, Brigham, Sarah Anne, Alice and Laverna. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 88 on September 9th, 1956 in Vernal, Uintah, Ut. He was buried on September 12th, 1956 in Woodland, Summit, Ut.General Notes
