Anne (Miller) was born in 1785 in Of Timberville, Rockingham, Virginia. Anne (Miller)'s father was Jacob Hoover and her mother was Barbara Huber MYER. Her paternal grandparents were John Huber and Margaret UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Vincent MYER and Anna Huber HUBER. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, Mary Cline and Salome Garber. She was the second youngest of the five children.
