John HOLMES

John was born in 1745 and his baptism took place on January 1st, 1745 in Ashover, Derbys, Engl.  John's father is James HOLMES and his mother is Hannah SMITH.  His maternal grandparents are Richard SMITH and Rebecca FRITCHLEY FRITCH. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Samuel, Anne, Fanny, Hannah, Hannah, Penelope, Penelope and Rhoda.  He is the second oldest of the ten children.
