Joseph was born about 1641 in Of, Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Joseph's father was Joseph HOLLOWAY (HOLWAY) and his mother was Rose Holly ALLEN. His maternal grandparents were Samuel ALLEN and UNKNOWN ALLEN. He had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph, Sarah, Sarah, Mary, Experience, Experience and Hopestill.
