John HOLBROOK 
John was born in 1673 in Medfield, Norfolk, Mass. John's father was Thomas HOLBROOKE and his mother was Hannah SHEPHERD. His paternal grandparents were Thomas HOLBROOK and Jane POWYES (POWIS); his maternal grandparents are John SHEPARD and Margaret SQUIRE. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Thomas, Eleazer, Patience and Hannah. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, John, Thomas (III), Peter, Joseph, Elizabeth, Joanna, Susannah, Ann and Mary.
