Henry was born about 1369 in Of Netherfield, Sussex, Eng..  Henry's father was Henry Herbert Alias FINCH and his mother is Parnel ALLARD.  His paternal grandfather was Vincent HERBERT OR FINCH and his paternal grandmother is Joan SALERNE; his maternal grandfather is Nicholas ALLARD. He has two brothers and four sisters, named Vincent, Nicholas, Pionisia, Isabel, Benetta and Joane.  He is the second youngest of the seven children.
