Ira HENDERSON

Ira was born on March 8th, 1842 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Il. Ira's father was Samuel HENDERSON and his mother was Elizabeth HARRIS. His paternal grandparents were James HENDERSON and Hannah SOLLARS; his maternal grandparents were John HARRIS, JR. and Abigail GRAGG (CRAGG). He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Martin Henry, Joseph, Hyrum, Ira, Minerva, Nancy Simpson, Abigail, Mary (Polly), Hannah and Charlotte. He is the youngest of the twelve children.
