Rutherford HAYES 
Rutherford was born on July 29th, 1756 in Branford, New Haven, Connecticut and his baptism took place on August 1st, 1756 in New Haven, Conn. Rutherford's father was Ezekiel HAYES and his mother was Rebecca RUSSELL. His paternal grandparents were Daniel HAYES and Sarah LEE; his maternal grandparents were John RUSSELL and Sarah TROWBRIDGE. He had a brother and four sisters, named Ezekiel, Rebecca, Sarah, Mary and Abigail. He was the third youngest of the six children.
