John HATCH

John was born in 1556 in Of, Langford, Devonshire, England. John's father was Lewis (Lews) HATCH and his mother was Elizabeth Brook FORTESCUE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas HATCH and Anne BLEWET; his maternal grandfather was Bartholomew FORTESCUE and his maternal grandmother is Ellen MOORE. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edmund, Lewis, Thomas, Edmond, Jane, Ann, Anne, Jane and Dorothy. He is the fourth youngest of the ten children.
