Ralph Walter was born on April 27th, 1897 in Lyle, Grant County, Oklahoma. Ralph Walter's father was David Edwin Gill and his mother was Florence Estella Epperson. His maternal grandparents were John S. EPPERSON and Nancy Ellen Forsyth. He had two brothers and a sister, named Carroll Lester, Merle Elbe and Mabel Josephine. He is the second youngest of the four children.-
