In the name of God Amen. I William Glasgow being sick and weak but inperfect sense and memory praised be to God for it, I do make this my LastWill and Testament.
My will and desire is that my son Caleb Glasgow have all my land on thewestward side of the road joining to the plantation I live on, it beingpart of the New Entry to him and his heirs forever and all the cattlethat is in his own proper mark.
I also desire that the child my wife is now big with, if a male child,should have all my land on the eastward side of the road known by thename of the New Entry to him and his heirs forever. And if that child mywife is now big with should die or be a female then my desire is that mydaughter Sarah have the land on the east side of the road as beforementioned to her and her heirs forever.
I likewise give my daughter Sarah all the cattle in her own proper mark,it being the mark given her by her grandfather.
I likewise give my daughter Abiah one cow and calf.
I also give to my daughter Elizabeth one cow and calf.
I also give to my daughter Lowdenner one cow and calf.
And I also give the child my wife now goes with one cow and calf.
And as touching the rest of my estate my desire is that my loving wifeSusannah Glasgow have all the rest of my estate to bring up my childrenand give them learning suitable to their stations.
And I also appoint my loving wife sole Executrix of this my Last Will andTestament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this30th day of September 1746.
