Her paternal grandfather was George Fisher and her paternal grandmother is Frances A. Lanham. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles Brady "Pop", Aubrey, Johnny, Leonard, Tom, Alice and Virginia. She died at the age of 97 in 1953 in Sissonville,Kanawha,W. Virginia.
